Well written and engaging thriller with a fast-moving plot. The use of some actual modern political figures is a risk that may turn off some readers, but the storytelling is solid, and writing skill is impressive, and this is an enjoyable read if you get past the real world baggage. The chapter title images are not something I have seen much of before, but they were well done. Overall good book, and worth your time, but if you are the type to get mad over the mention of a few modern political figures this may not be one for you.

I picked up this book on a night when I was bored and just wanted something that would keep me awake, and I ended up reading way longer than I planned. I really liked following Debra because she feels sharp and stubborn in a way that made me root for her. The mystery kept pulling me along, and a couple moments actually made me stop and think about what might be hiding behind the scenes in real life too. There were a few spots where the point of view switched a bit fast for me, and I had to reread to catch up, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the ride. By the time I finished, I was already thinking about who I could talk to about that ending.
